Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been embroiled in a new controversy. The leader of the opposition party, Pierre Polivray, has attacked Trudeau over the Nazi soldier Yaroslav Hanka, who was invited during the visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Canada.

Polivray said Justin Trudeau had been saying for months that only Speaker Anthony Rota was responsible for inviting Hanka, but now it has come to light that Trudeau's office invited the former Hitler soldier during the president's visit to Ukraine. was Zelensky came to Canada in September last year and during this time he also addressed the House of Commons.

Yaroslav Hanka, a former soldier of Hitler's army, was invited to the House as a special guest at that time. However, Hanka's bankground was not known till then, but as soon as it was known, Speaker Hanka left the post taking responsibility for it.

Now the new controversy is that Hunka was also invited to attend the reception given in Toronto by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during Zelensky's visit to Canada. The invitation was sent on behalf of Trudeau under Canada's Office of Protocol.
