Canada's Cyber Intelligence Agency has warned of cyber attacks during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The agency said that Canadian websites may be subject to cyber attacks.

According to the Communications Security Establishment, NATO-affiliated countries that have hosted Zelenskyy are at risk of cyber attacks.

Communications Security has advised government and critical infrastructure websites to be vigilant.

Cyber attacks against NATO countries that support Ukraine or host visits by Ukrainian government officials are not uncommon, the agency said.

CSE and the Cyber Center say they are working closely with other government agencies to neutralize threats when they occur.

This is Zelensky's first official visit to Canada after Russia's attack on Ukraine in February 2022.
