Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating a shooting at a business in Northwest Surrey.
On September 19, 2025, at approximately 8:35 am, Surrey Police Service received reports of a shooting near 108 Avenue and 125 Street, Surrey. Police arrived on scene and located numerous bullet holes in the rear of a business. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
SPS Frontline Investigation Support (FLIS) Team are attending and assisting with the investigation.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

Based on information received from community sources, Connect FM asked Sgt. Tige Pollock if this was the second time the home or business of the person whose business was shot at, had been targeted.
Sgt. Pollock said, “ this cannot be confirmed whether the information was accurate or not as this comes with the risk of the victim's identity being revealed.”
Sgt. Pollock said, “the investigation into the matter is currently ongoing and it cannot be confirmed whether it is extortion-related or not.”
He admitted that whenever a shooting incident occurs, there is concern in the community and the police are making every effort to get to the people responsible for the incident.
