India has so far won three medals in the Paris Olympics. Swapnil Kusale won the latest medal in men's 50m rifle three position. This was his first Olympic match, in which he won a bronze medal.

Indian forward Abhishek scored in the 18th minute of the first half to give India the lead, while Belgium came back aggressively in the second half to equalize the score in the 33rd minute and seal the win with another goal in the 44th minute.

Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh could not score any goals in today's match, while in the previous match against Ireland he scored 2 goals and India won 2-0. India's next match will now be against Australia, although the Indian hockey team has qualified for the quarterfinals.

A 70-year-old man from Sherwood Park has died after an SUV collided head-on with a school bus on a rural road south of Edmonton.
