Punjab Congress leader from Jalandhar Pargat Singh has targeted Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and state Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over the promises made by them before the assembly elections. Pargat Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to earn 20,000 crores from mining in a year but only 472 crores was collected in the state exchequer in two years.
Referring to the CAG report, he said that no arrangement has been made to stop illegal mining in Punjab and no crusher policy has been made yet. It is to be noted that in Punjab, both Congress and AAP are fighting separate elections and are surrounding each other, but at the national level, both the parties are fighting the Lok Sabha elections under an alliance.
