Federal party leaders are facing questions about whether they are the right person to represent their caucus after a lacklustre election.
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole is defending his party's performance under his leadership, which saw no gains in the party's total number of seats so far.
O'Toole says he wants to earn the trust of Canadians and is launching a review of all aspects of the campaign.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is also insisting he has not met his ceiling as leader.
The final results are still being counted in some ridings as Elections Canada works its way through large numbers of mail-in ballots.
