One dead, one injured in Surrey shooting

The investigation of this matter has been handed over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

A person was killed in a shooting last night in the Guildford area of Surrey.

RCMP were called to a parking lot at 108 Avenue and 148 Street around 8 p.m.

Sgt. Martin Neveu said they rushed the injured man to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation of this matter has been handed over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

Along with this, the police appealed to the public and said that if anyone has dash cam footage, they should immediately inform the police.
