Nominations for panchayat elections in Punjab has ended, Clashes at many places

The round of nominations for panchayat elections in Punjab ended today. Clashes also took place at many places. At Moga's village Landheke, two Sarpanchi candidates belonging to the same village of Aam Aadmi Party clashed, one party's papers were torn and thrown away.
Meanwhile, shots were also fired near the nomination center, due to which people ran into a stampede and many people were injured. Apart from this, there have been cases of tearing the nominations of Sarpanch candidates in the nomination centers at Kot Ise Khan and Dharamkot. The police also resorted to lathi charge to control the crowd.
