Police in Richmond have arrested a man who didn't have his ducks in a row while hunting for birds in the area.

A resident complained to police that a man appeared to be shooting at birds in a nearby field.

While police say the man was shooting where hunting is permitted, he also violated numerous hunting rules, including firearm violations.

RCMP say no one was hurt, but charges are pending against the man.
