West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has offered to resign due to the ongoing strike of doctors in the state. He said in a press conference today - I also want justice in the rape-murder case of RG Kar Medical College, but due to the stoppage of work of junior doctors, 27 people have lost their lives and the condition of 7 lakh patients is bad.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she waited for two hours for a meeting with the protesting doctors but they were not ready to talk. According to reports, the doctors were demanding a live telecast of the meeting, which the government did not agree to.
