In the Lok Sabha elections of Punjab, the people have shown a mirror to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in two and a half years. Out of the 5 ministers who contested the party elections, 4 lost the elections, three MLAs also faced defeat. In many places, the party's candidates stood at the third position, while CM Bhagwant Mann was persistent since almost the month of March to make the election campaign a success.
Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal himself also held road shows and public meetings. Among the losers are Health Minister Balbir Singh who was removed from Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Khadur Sahib, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal from Amritsar and former Chief Minister from Bathinda Lok Sabha Constituency. Gurmeet Singh Khudiya who defeated Parkash Singh Badal was included.
