State President of Bahujan Samaj Party Jasvir Singh Garhi informed that under the guidelines of party supremo sister Kumari Mayawati, party in-charge of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh Randhir Singh Baniwal, the party has released the second list of candidates in view of the Lok Sabha elections. has been given, according to which Kulwant Singh Mehton from Fatehgarh Sahib and Lakhveer Singh Nikka from Bathinda have been announced as candidates.

Kulwant Singh Mehto, the candidate fielded in the Lok Sabha constituency Fatehgarh Sahib, thanked the party high command for giving him the ticket and said that he will live up to the trust the party has shown in him.

It is worth mentioning that before this Bahujan Samaj Party has announced candidates from 7 Lok Sabha constituencies, in which Mr. Rakesh Kumar Suman from Hoshiarpur, Mr. Surinder Kamboj from Ferozepur, Dr. from Sangrur. Makhan Singh, Jagjit Singh Chharbar from Patiala, Balwinder Kumar from Jalandhar, Gurbaksh Singh Chauhan from Faridkot and Engineer Raj Kumar Janotra from Gurdaspur. After the release of this list, BSP has now fielded candidates from a total of 9 Lok Sabha seats.
