Ahead of the voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on June 1, the former MLA from Ludhiana, the Bains brothers have joined the Congress.
Devendra Yadav, who is in charge of Punjab Affairs of Congress yesterday, meet former MLAs Balwinder Singh Bains and Simarjit Singh Bains with Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, during which Lok Insaf Party was formally merged with Congress.
The Bains brothers said that they have joined the Congress party unconditionally. Both will now campaign for Congress candidate from Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat and Punjab Pradesh Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring.
