There is a high possibility of an election in the spring after Parliament resumes its session in Canada. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announced today that his party will vote to topple the government as soon as Parliament reconvenes.

Jagmeet Singh stated that it doesn't matter who the leader of the Liberal Party will be, as the Liberals have disappointed the people and do not deserve another chance. He further mentioned that he will introduce a no-confidence motion against the government as soon as possible.

It is worth noting that Jagmeet Singh held a news conference in Burnaby, where he reacted to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's resignation.
