Punjab's Ferozepur court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of former Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira. A case of attempted murder was registered against Zira over a land dispute.

There is a dispute going on with a person named Gurlal Singh in his village Baggi regarding 10 acres of land, over which a fight broke out between the two parties one day and a shot was fired during it.

Seeing the serious condition of Gurlal Singh, who was injured in this incident, he was immediately taken to DMC of Ludhiana. The hospital was referred, after which 9 other people have also been nominated in the case along with Kulbir Singh Zira.
