The counting of votes for the by-election of the Jalandhar West Vidhan Sabha seat in Punjab will begin tomorrow at 8 am local time. The first trend will come at 9 am and by 2 pm the position will be clear as to who has wins.

All the parties are worried due to low turnout and there is a possibility of decline in the vote percentage of all the candidates.

The by-elections held on July 10 saw 54.9 percent voting, which is about 9 percent less than the Lok Sabha elections. A three-way competition is being considered for this seat.

Sheetal Angural from BJP, Mahinder Bhagat from AAP and former senior deputy mayor Surinder Kaur from Congress were the candidates.
