According to reports, the meeting was aimed at reducing tensions between Iran and the U.S.

The initiative for this meeting was taken by Elon Musk, while the Iranian ambassador chose the location. The two spoke for more than an hour, and sources said that the Iranian ambassador appeared satisfied with the discussions. It is worth noting that Musk has become one of the most influential private citizens in the Trump administration.

Musk is expected to join Indian-origin Vivek Ramaswamy in a new role advising the government within the Trump administration. However, Musk's meeting with the Iranian ambassador comes at a time when it is believed that the next four years could present challenges for Iran following Trump's return to office.
