India has secured the first place in the semi-finals by winning its 7th consecutive match in this World Cup.

It is worth mentioning that while chasing the target of 358 runs, the Sri Lankan team got all out by scoring 55 runs in 19.4 overs.

Mohammad Shami got 5 wickets, Mohammad Siraj got three and Jasprit Bumrah got 1 wicket.

Earlier, India scored 357 runs thanks to the stormy innings of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer.

India has reached the top of the points table.
