Farmers protesting at the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana have announced a march to Delhi. On January 21, 101 farmers will proceed on foot. Farmer leader Sarwan Pandher stated that the central government remains unwilling to hold talks, prompting the intensification of their struggle.

It is noteworthy that farmers attempted to march to Delhi three times in December, but each time, Haryana Police stopped them at barricades. The protest, led by Jagjit Singh Dallewal and Sarwan Pandher, has been ongoing for 11 months at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders, demanding a legal guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) on crops.
