Punjab farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has issued a strong warning, stating that if the central government fails to provide a "suitable solution" to the farmers' demands during the meeting scheduled for February 14 in Chandigarh, the farmers will begin a foot march from the Shambhu border to Delhi on February 25.

The central government has invited the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha Non-Political and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha for talks in Chandigarh on February 14. These farmer organizations are leading protests at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders, demanding, among other things, a legal guarantee for the procurement of crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP). Pandher also mentioned that a delegation from their organizations would attend the meeting called by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha on February 12.
