ED may tighten its grip against Bikram Singh Majithia, who was a minister in the former Akali government of Punjab. The ED has written to the Punjab government seeking details of the Majithia family's money transactions from 2006-07 to 2018-19.

According to sources, the Punjab government may share the details of the special investigation team with the ED in a couple of days. The Special Investigation Team has prepared a detailed list of money transactions of Majithia family companies.

On the other hand, Majithia in a video post told Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that he is not afraid of such threats.

Virsa Singh Valtoha, senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, called it a political grudge.
