Dr Dharamvir Gandhi joined the Congress

Former MP of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab Dr. Dharamveer Gandhi joined Congress on Monday. Dharamvir Gandhi became Member of Parliament from Patiala on AAP ticket in 2014. He defeated Captain Amarinder Singh's wife Maharani Parneet Kaur.

Congress Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi is expected to be nominated from this seat. Maharani Parneet Kaur is contesting this time from BJP.

Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi had formed a separate party before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he named it Nawaan Punjab, which he merged with the Congress today.
