Dallewal Rejects Offer to Go to PGI

BY Connect Newsroom, Jan 24, 2025 4:33 PM - REPORT AN ERROR

The Central Government has made it necessary for Dallewal to be present in the meeting on February 14.

The Centre has offered to admit Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a hunger strike for 60 days at the Khanauri border in Punjab-Haryana, to PGI. The Central Government has also made it mandatory for Dallewal to attend a meeting on February 14.

Despite the offer, Dallewal has reportedly refused to go to PGI, stating that he will remain at the protest site and continue his treatment there, where he has been receiving care for the past five days.

Meanwhile, the Facebook page of Dr. Swaman Singh, a US-based social worker who shared updates on Dallewal’s health, has been blocked in India. This action was taken by Facebook following a legal request from the India Cyber Crime Center.
