Cricketer Yuvraj Singh will not contest the Lok Sabha elections from Gurdaspur in Punjab.

The former cricketer has dismissed the reports of contesting the elections.

He said that he will continue the work he is doing to help the people.

It is to be noted that it was being said that Yuvraj Singh can be made a candidate by BJP from Gurdaspur, from where Bollywood actor Sunny Deol won last time, but there is a lot of resentment among the people due to his not re-entering the constituency.

In an interview, Sunny Deol had said that he will not contest the 2024 elections.

He said that he likes to work in the film line and wants to serve the country as an actor.
