Senior Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa met Sidhu Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh at his house today amid discussions of contesting the Azad Lok Sabha elections.

According to sources, Bajwa went to celebrate them. It is said that the Congress wants the support of Balkaur Singh from Bathinda or wants him to contest the elections for the Congress.

At present, the outcome of their talks is not known. At present, Jeet Mohinder Singh is the candidate of Congress from Bathinda, who is competing with Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Harsmirat Kaur Badal and BJP candidate Parampal Kaur Maluka.

On behalf of AAP, Gurmeet Singh Khudian is in the fray, who won as MLA from Lambi Constituency by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal's senior leader Parkash Singh Badal.
