Clash between farmers and Punjab police on Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the train stop dharna is being held against the arrest of three farmers, Navdeep Singh, Anish Khatkar and Gurkirat Singh, who were arrested in March. He said that the dharna will continue till the farmers are released by the Haryana Police.

A clash broke out between the farmers and the Punjab Police today on the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana. In fact, the police tried to stop the farmers who were advancing to protest on the railway track.

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the train stop dharna is being held against the arrest of three farmers, Navdeep Singh, Anish Khatkar and Gurkirat Singh, who were arrested in March. He said that the dharna will continue till the farmers are released by the Haryana Police.

34 trains were affected due to farmers' dharna. 11 trains were completely cancelled, while several trains were rerouted and some had to be shortened.

Farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal said that if the government releases our three farmers, they will leave the railway track in 10 minutes.
