Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be able to meet AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail on April 15. Tihar Jail administration has given this date after a meeting with senior officials of Punjab Police.

This meeting was held to arrange security in the jail and complete all formalities during the meeting of the two leaders.

Currently Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is out of Punjab for two days. He is campaigning for party candidates in Assam. Aam Aadmi Party is contesting on two seats in Assam.

Maple Ridge shooting leaves 56-year-old man critically injured

A 56-year-old man has been critically injured in an overnight shooting in Maple Ridge, B.C. Police say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 11400 block of 236 Street. Peel Regional Police in Ontario have arrested a Punjabi man and a woman in connection with an alleged extortion scheme in Brampton involving an online dating platform.
