Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann says that drugs are coming to Punjab from Gujarat but the state is being defamed in this matter.

He also said that the election code in the state has now ended and the government is ready to take action against the alliance between police officers and smugglers.

The Chief Minister today told reporters after a meeting with the SSPs and other senior police officers of all the districts that I am the DGP. Punjab has been asked to immediately transfer the lower level officers in each police station.

He said that more than 10,000 such officers have been transferred, if any police officer is involved in the illegal drug business, he will be dismissed immediately.
