Before voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on June 1, election campaigning is being done vigorously by all the parties in the state. Aam Aadmi Party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is also on a visit to Punjab. Along with their security, heavy force is being deployed on the entire route.

At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived for election campaign in favor of Ravneet Singh Bittu from Lok Sabha constituency Ludhiana, hinted to make Bittu a minister. He also said that the AAP government is not going to last long in Punjab.

Congress candidate from Patiala Dr. Priyanka Gandhi, who came to campaign for Dharamvir Gandhi, talked about her close relationship with Punjab. Addressing the election rally, Priyanka said, "You are my in-laws because I got married in a Punjabi family." It is to be noted that the 6th round of voting has been done till Saturday, now in the seventh and last round voting is to be held for 57 Lok Sabha seats in seven states and one union territory.
