Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to CBI custody by the trial court for three days. The investigating agency arrested Kejriwal this morning after questioning him in Tihar jail last night.
Till now he was in the custody of ED in the liquor scam case. The CBI has taken Kejriwal into its custody after the High Court canceled the bail granted to him by the trial court while hearing the petition of the ED.
ED-CBI alleges that Aam Aadmi Party did money laundering in liquor policy through Kejriwal. The party used a part of the scam money during the 2022 Goa assembly elections. According to the investigating agencies, a bribe of Rs 100 crore was taken from the members of the South Group for manipulating the liquor policy.
