Police say officers responded to a shooting yesterday evening the neighbourhood of Penbrooke Meadows.
They say officers found a man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds and sent to hospital in stable condition.
Police say an early morning shooting yesterday left one man dead.
They did not disclose whether the two shootings were connected, but they say the shooting in the evening did not appear to be random.
According to police, witnesses reported seeing two vehicles "exchanging gunfire." The Calgary Police Service located one vehicle at the scene and found an injured man inside. Paramedics took him to hospital in stable condition.
The incident marks the third shooting in Calgary in four days.
