A graduate of Burnsview Secondary is being congratulated by the Delta School district.

Kushal Mujral has been awarded a $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship.

Kushal is heading to the University of Waterloo to study Software Engineering in the fall.

Mujral was selected by Burnsview Secondary for his outstanding academic and community extra curricular achievements.

Drugs, guns seized after search warrant executed at local residence

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Safety Unit and Problem Oriented Policing Team executed a search warrant at a residence on the 300-block of Nicholson Street as part of an ongoing investigation at that location. Black bear killed after attacking woman in Whistler, B.C.

Conservation officers in British Columbia say they killed a black bear after it attacked a woman walking her dog in Whistler. A statement posted online by the Conservation Officer Service says the woman was walking her leashed dog in the Kadenwood neighbourhood around 8:30 p.m. on Monday when she was knocked to the ground and bitten by the bear.
