Parampal Kaur Maluka, the BJP candidate from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat in Punjab, has received a big blow. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has rejected the voluntary retirement application of IAS Parampal Kaur and has sent a notice asking her to rejoin duty.

The Hon'ble government says that legal action will be taken against IAS Parampal Kaur if she does not return to duty. This action of the Punjab Government has come at a time when the Center has accepted the resignation of Parampal Kaur under the All India Service Rules.

Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had objected to Parampal Kaur joining the Bharatiya Janata Party.
