Senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia has slammed the AAP-led Punjab government for allegedly wasting public funds on providing Z+ security to Vibhav Kumar, the former PA of ex-Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Majithia questioned why the Bhagwant Mann government extended such high-level security to Vibhav Kumar, a Delhi resident who, according to Majithia, has a criminal history, including jail time for alleged misconduct against women.

He also raised concerns over Punjab’s worsening law and order situation and criticized the financial burden of protecting a non-Punjabi while the state struggles with debt.

Notably, Vibhav Kumar was jailed in May 2024 for assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal.
