The main accused in the recent bomb blast in a house in Sector 10 of Chandigarh has been arrested. Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the police arrested the main accused Rohan Masih from Amritsar in a joint operation with the central agency.

The investigation teams also recovered a 9mm Glock pistol and ammunition from him. In the initial investigation itself, Rohan has confessed to the grenade attack. In the same case, some suspects have also been detained from Khanna in Ludhiana. The accused had carried out this attack mistaking it for the house of Punjab Police retired SP Jaskirat Singh Chahal. Chahal used to live in this house on rent but he shifted to another place about six months ago.
