Big relief to Dera Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Dera manager Ranjit Singh acquitted in murder case

He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of the journalist and 10 years each in two cases of sexual harassment. Currently, Ram Rahim is lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria Jail.

The Punjab-Haryana High Court has acquitted 5 people including Dera Sirsa Chief Ram Rahim in the case of Dera Manager Ranjit Singh's murder. The CBI court had sentenced him to life imprisonment in this case.

Despite being acquitted in this case, Ram Rahim will have to remain in jail because apart from the Ranjit murder case, he is also serving the sentence for the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati and the sexual abuse of sadhvis.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of the journalist and 10 years each in two cases of sexual harassment. Currently, Ram Rahim is lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria Jail.

RCMP investigate suspicious death at Peace River gas station

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say a man is dead after an incident at a gas station in northern Alberta that investigators are treating as suspicious. Canadian astronaut Joshua Kutryk assigned to first space mission aboard SpaceX Crew-13
