Bibi Jagir Kaur, the former president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, has rejoined the Akali Dal.
Sukhbir Singh Badal today reached Bibi Jagir Kaur's Dere Begowal in Kapurthala district and brought her back to the party. Bibi Jagir Kaur again joined the Shiromani Akali Dal and said that 'I was an Akali, I am an Akali and I will remain an Akali'.
It is to be noted that former Akali Minister Bibi Jagir Kaur has been the President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in 1999, 2004 and 2020. He was expelled from the Akali Dal in November 2022.
