The police said that they received a report of 4 persons drowning in the water last evening, the rescue team immediately reached the spot and pulled them out in an unconscious condition, out of which three died on the spot, while a 20-year-old The girl was airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne but she also died as her condition became critical.
According to local media reports, a group of 10 people went here for a picnic.
These four persons were also part of that group. Jagjit, Suhani and Keerti were living in Australia on student visas, while 43-year-old Reema Soandhi went to Australia to travel.
