Another fire in Delta thought to be suspicious

Delta police say they're treating a New Year's Day fire that destroyed a commercial building in Tsawwassen as suspicious.

The two-storey commercial medical-dental building was completely gutted in the fire that was reported about 4:00 a-m.

Police spokeswoman Cris Leykauf says police believe the fire may have been deliberately set based on the evidence collected so far.

Two other suspicious fires destroyed or damaged three empty homes in Delta last October but Leykauf says any link between those blazes and the most recent fire remains to be determined.
