Amritpal Singh asked for 7 days release to fill the nomination

A petition was filed by Amritpal Singh for 7 days' release to file papers related to contesting the election. The state government said that Amritpal was given the facility to file papers and his nomination forms were filled on May 9.

The nomination paper of Amritpal Singh, head of Waris Punjab organization, who is contesting the election as an independent candidate from the Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha seat of Punjab, has been filed. This information was given by the Punjab government in the High Court today.

In this Lok Sabha constituency, apart from Amritpal, candidates from five main political parties are in the fray, including former MLA Kulbir Singh Zira from Congress, current Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar from AAP, former MLA Virsa Singh Valtoha from Shiromani Akali Dal, BJP Former MLA Manjit Singh Manna is Mianwind.
