Amrita Waring, wife of the party's state president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, may be given a ticket by the Congress from the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab.
Reports say that the High Command has given the green light to his name from the Bathinda seat for the Lok Sabha elections and it will be announced in the coming days.
The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudiya from this seat, while the Akali Dal has not yet announced any candidate, but it is believed that the name of Harsimrat Kaur Badal may be stamped again.
