Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring has challenged BJP state president Sunil Jakhar that if he contests from any constituency in Punjab, he will stand against him. Waring said that I am confident that the people will not give a single seat to BJP in Punjab.
At the same time, on the issue of contesting a separate election from the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, unlike the India alliance, he said that it was necessary to avoid an alliance with AAP for the separate identity of Punjab.
Let us tell that at the national level these two parties are part of the same alliance. Waring said that Punjab Congress leaders and candidates will not be seen sharing the stage or campaigning with any AAP leader.
