Sukhdev Dhindsa supported the rebel faction only yesterday and said that a general meeting will be called soon to elect a new president in place of Sukhbir Badal.

The Shiromani Akali Dal's disciplinary committee has also shown the way out to party patron Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.

Along with this, he said that Sukhbir Badal's decision to expel 8 leaders including Bibi Jagir Kaur, Professor Prem Singh Chandumajra from the party is against the constitution of Shiromani Akali Dal and said that he completely rejects the decision.

Sukhdev Dhindsa said that Sukhbir Badal had no right to expel anyone from the party.
