A candle march was held in Silverberry Park by the Punjabi community demanding justice in the case of a Punjabi youth who was murdered in Edmonton last week. Meanwhile, the mother of deceased 22-year-old Jashandeep Singh Maan demanded justice for her son through a video call from Punjab.

Let us tell you that Jashandeep Singh came to Edmonton to study 8 months ago. According to the police, Jashandeep was at work when he was attacked and the killer already knew him.

Police have charged 40-year-old Edgar Wesker with second degree murder. He has been murdered by a delivery company worker, prompting an Occupational Health and Safety investigation.
