After lifting the suspension, Paramraj Singh Umranangal has been posted as IG Policy and Rules

Umranangal has been posted as Inspector General in the Policy and Rules Department.

The Punjab government has reinstated IPS officer Paramraj Singh Umranangal, who has been suspended for the past five years in the Bargari firing case.

Umranangal has been posted as Inspector General in the Policy and Rules Department.

The state government had reinstated Umranangal on July 11 on the fresh orders of the Punjab-Haryana High Court but the posting has not been given so far.
