Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the extension of one year in the NSA imposed on Amritpal Singh and his companions detained in Dibrugarh Jail in Assam.

Advocate Dhami said that in the Lok Sabha elections, Bhai Amritpal Singh was elected Member of Parliament from Khadur Sahib Constituency by the people of Punjab with a large number of votes, but the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and the central government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party Disrespecting the sentiments of the people of Amritpal, they have taken the most reprehensible action of increasing NSA.

They have demanded the Punjab and Central Government to release Amritpal Singh and his associates.
