4 killed during firing between two sides

In Punjab, the situation regarding peace law is getting worse day by day. About 60 rounds of fire were fired between two parties over the government water supply in Vithwan village of Batala, in which 4 people died.

According to the police, 8 persons were injured in the firing and a total of 13 persons were involved in both the factions. Officials said that a case has been registered and further action is being taken in this matter. The condition of 2 of the injured remains critical.

At the same time, a video of a young man being brutally beaten with iron rods by attackers in Maur Mandi near Bathinda has gone viral. The police say that the accused have been identified and further action is being taken.
