Twenty people were killed and dozens injured when four trucks overturned on a crowd in Gaza on Tuesday. It is being told that the crowd ran towards the trucks and climbed on top, due to which the drivers lost control.
According to the local transport association, 26 trucks arrived with goods for Gaza traders after Israel allowed private imports for the first time in months, during which the crowd surrounded the convoy of trucks, mistaking them for relief supplies.
The United Nations says that there is still a large-scale food shortage in Gaza, for which the UN blames Israeli policies. At the same time, Israel is blaming the UN for these failures.
