It seems the Punjabi entertainment industry is currently active in political rallies. Recently, Punjabi singers and actors Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon were seen at a rally supporting Karamjit Anmol. Actor-turned-politician Karamjit Anmol is the AAP candidate from the Faridkot constituency and has recently filed his nomination papers.
Previously, Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar and actor Kartar Cheema also showed their support for Karamjit Anmol. For those who may not know, Karamjit Anmol is a close friend of CM Bhagwant Mann, with their friendship dating back to their comedy days.
