BY jasmine, Nov 18, 2020 12:00 AM - REPORT AN ERRORSonu Sood has earned the moniker of Messiah of migrants for his noble gestures towards migrant labourers, paramedics, frontline workers and the needy during the covid situation.
Looking at his volley of work, The Election Commission of India has now appointed Sonu as the state icon for Punjab.
Sonu Sood expressed his gratitude for the honour.
"Having been born in Punjab, this appointment means so much to me, emotionally.
I am happy to have made my state proud of me and I am motivated to keep working hard," he added.
